In his spare time, Ty is an avid sports fan, cheering on his two favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and Duke Blue Devils. Ty grew up in Patoka and still resides in his hometown with his wife of 20 years, Carrie, his 2 daughters (Kennedy and Kaytlyn), dogs (Duke and Daisy), and Siamese cat (Sky).
